[ARCHIVED] Urgent Repair Work by City of Huntington Beach

A sinkhole impacted a sewer pipeline in the City of Huntington Beach between Magnolia and Ross on Warner Avenue.

Key Details:

Tentative Start Date:  Mid-September 2024

Estimated Duration: Up to six weeks (October completion)

Work Hours: Westbound Work Hours:  7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Traffic Control with Permanent Closure (24/7); Eastbound Work Hours and Traffic Control Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Traffic Impact: Expect lane closures on Warner Avenue. Two westbound lanes will be closed 24/7 from west of Magnolia to west of Ross and will open to all lanes approximately 500 feet west of Ross. One eastbound lane will be closed only during work hours and will open at the end of each workday.

Access: Warner Avenue will be available to businesses and residences throughout construction.

The Huntington Beach Public Works team will work diligently to complete these repairs quickly and safely. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation during this period.
