The City of Fountain Valley has awarded a contract to PCI for the Signing and Striping Improvements for Eleven (11) School Areas project. This work will consist of removing, relocating, furnishing, and/or installing new signs and posts, and installation of striping, such as new pavement markings and new crosswalks.
Construction starts on Monday, March 16, 2026 through Friday, March 20, 2026 around the surrounding school locations below:
- Ethan B. Allen Elementary School
- Monroe Elementary Language Academy
- Northcutt Elementary School
- Los Amigos High School
Then construction will continue Monday, April 6, 2026 through Friday, April 10, 2026 around the surrounding school locations below:
- Fulton Middle School
- Kazuo Masuda Middle School
- Urbain H. Plavan Elementary School
- Roch Courreges Elementary School
- Hisamatsu Tamura Elementary School
- Vista View Middle School
- Fountain Valley High School
The construction schedule is subject to weather delays and other unforeseen conditions. Working hours will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Please comply with all posted parking restrictions near the school areas. Vehicles parked in a posted “NO PARKING” area may be towed and will prolong the construction process.
