The new Planning and Building Fee Schedule and Building Valuation Table went into effect November 15, 2016.

Functions

The City of Fountain Valley Planning Department is dedicated to serving the public. The primary functions of the department are the implementation of the General Plan and the administration of the Development Code, Title 21.

The Planning Department reviews projects for compliance to the General Plan and Development Code and makes recommendations to:

• City Council
• Environmental and Development Review Committee
• Planning Commission
• Sign Committee

New Development Projects in FV

Village Center SC:  Construction has begun for a new Dutch Bros coffee establishment with a double drive-through in the Village Center shopping center located at the northeast corner of Magnolia Street and Talbert Avenue.
